We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will coordinate and optimize the flow of materials across various transportation modes, maintain accurate inventory records, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, ERP proficiency, and the ability to work effectively with employees at all organizational levels.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate inbound and outbound material flow for ocean, air, rail, and road deliveriesFacilitate internal logistics and routing movements throughout the operations processEnsure accuracy of inventory from receiving staging, transfers, and goods issue in the ERP systemVerify accuracy of the bill of materials and suggest changes as neededAnalyze MRP reports and define procurement plans to satisfy demandCollaborate with Planning, Quality, Customer Service, and Production teams to align physical and ERP system transactionsMaintain accurate inventory levels and implement effective cycle count programsCoordinate with the Quality department for non-conformance and sorting of raw materials, WIP, and finished goodsInput inventory data into ERP system for accurate record keepingAssess warehouse storage facility requirements for optimal use of spaceConduct root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies and develop preventive proceduresAct as a liaison between Sales, Purchasing, and Planning to manage stressed, obsolete, and aged inventoryDefine inventory levels in coordination with master scheduling, forecasting, and logistics constraintsCoordinate scheduling and traceability with domestic and international freight forwardersAnalyze MRP reports on a daily/weekly basisDefine procurement plans considering cost, storage capacity, and lead timeIdentify risks of shortages and their operational impactLead and/or support key improvement projects aimed at digitalizing supply chain processesQualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred but not requiredProficiency in QAD ERP, Advanced Excel, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of employees, from warehouse staff to executivesExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
