A Day in the Life of a Life Sciences Operations DirectorAs the Life Sciences Operations Director (LSOD), you'll lead with purpose-driving operational excellence, compliance, and growth across our life sciences vertically. Each day brings opportunities to shape strategic initiatives, streamline processes, and ensure operational readiness at both regional and national levels. If you're passionate about transforming vision into measurable impact and guiding teams toward operational excellence, this is your opportunity to make a lasting mark on the future of life sciences.Responsibilities:Lead and implement life sciences processes and compliance standards across regional and national operationsMitigate company risk through the enforcement of safety, documentation, and training protocolsOversee life sciences projects to ensure alignment with scope, service, and operational excellenceConduct site visits and strategy calls to support business continuity and complex project executionDevelop accurate, scope-driven estimates leveraging commercial construction and environmental expertiseEnsure readiness of life sciences equipment, consumables, and assessment toolsIdentify growth opportunities, coordinate readiness efforts, and support market and account expansionPartner with sales and operations on proposals, RFPs, and documentation developmentDrive continuous improvement through peer reviews, audits, and leadership feedbackApply validation and sterility assurance solutions (e.g., BI) for Pharmaceutical and Medical Device industriesUtilize CRM systems such as Salesforce to manage data and enhance communicationAbility to travel 20-50% nationally, including disaster recovery or high-impact loss sitesExperience & Education:5 years of experience in operational leadership, ideally within life sciences, healthcare, environmental services, or restorationBackground in life sciences restoration proceduresBachelor's degree or relevant years of work experienceValid driver's license requiredFirst Onsite provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
