The Loan Officer will be responsible for evaluating loan applications, conducting financial analyses, and ensuring compliance with underwriting standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include originating loans, managing customer relationships, and providing exceptional customer service for the target groups. The role involves assessing borrowers' creditworthiness and promoting the bank's financial products to meet client needs effectively. The Relationship Officer will spend more than 70% of the time on the field by performing visits to clients in commercial areas.Required ProfileB.Sc/HND degree in relevant fieldsMinimum of 3 years’ experience in MFB or Commercial Bank Loan sectionGood relationship and communication skills with strong team spiritStrong analytical and decision making skillsGood computer skillsReal motivation to work and grow in a performance-based environmentStrong marketing skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAdditional knowledge / Skill requiredPractical knowledge of Small / Medium businessesStrong knowledge of microfinance bank sector is an advantageGood analytical skillsAbility to work on-site in Lagos and collaborate with a team-oriented environmentKnowledge of the major local languages
