Logistic Supervisor

Job Summary:The Logistics Specialist is responsible for controlling all material and equipment movements into and out of the project site in Makkah. The role ensures accurate receiving, proper storage, safe handling, and timely distribution of materials to support construction progress while maintaining strict compliance with project logistics and HSE requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesControl site access for all material and equipment deliveries.Verify delivery documents, quantities, and report damages immediately.Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory and stock movement records.Coordinate internal distribution to construction zones based on priority.Prepare and update the Project Logistics Plan (routes, laydown/storage areas).Track delivery schedules, stock levels, and initiate replenishment when required.Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.Enforce proper lifting, loading, and material protection procedures.Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, security, and HSE teams.Manage waste logistics and return of extra/unused materials as needed.Qualifications: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering. Solid experience in the construction industry. Good level of English (Arabic is an advantage). Proven experience in material receiving, warehouse control, and logistics operations. Experience handling delivery permits, restricted site access, and equipment movement. Working experience on major projects in Saudi Arabia (Makkah preferred). Strong inventory control, tracking, and documentation abilities. Knowledge of material handling and construction logistics operations. Skills:Excellent coordination and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. High attention to detail with strong reporting accuracy. Proficient in MS Excel and inventory management systems. Problem-solving mindset with proactive decision-making. Valid KSA Driving License. Understanding of HSE requirements for logistics and site handling activities.
