Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE POSITIONThe incumbent shall involve in coordinating inbound and outbound logistical operations including inventory management, warehousing, and transportation to ensure sufficient supply of goods and products. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Execute day-to-day operational activities of supply chain, inventory planning and logistics activities of the commercial operations Coordinate the forecast by close co-operation with local sales and headquarters in Europe Evaluate capacity through coordinating with sales and other relevant parties Responsible for update in Business-One in SAP Ensure warehousing operations is within safety guidelines and efficiency improvements. This includes receiving, shipping, and material handling activities which includes picking/packing and cycle counting Accountable for optimizing inventory turns to minimize excess and obsolete inventory through product life cycle management Timely data maintenance of inventory updates or status Handle all related custom activities Set up the logistics function and maintain relationship with provider of transport services Discuss with supervisor on inventory control and inventory accuracy in warehousing operations and drive initiatives to improve inventory turns. Analyzes inventory reports and directs appropriate action to ensure inventories are accounted for per accepted practices Manage monthly minimum order quantity and safety stock levels (benchmark) so that adequate supply is available at the hospital Maintain patient database and prepare patient cards (CRM) Update the weekly sales report/back order report Update monthly short expiry report/write off report/Pending Purchase Order (PPO) report Inventory closing and reconciliation Handle all administrative tasks that are related to Logistics Department Be able to handle adhoc requests   Always identify initiatives to improve logistic processes to ensure efficiency Other duties as directed  BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Education:     Degree education in business administration/ supply chain/ logistic or equivalent  Experience:  3-5 years of relevant work experience in operations Has work experience in medical devices company Knowledgeable in consignment business Meticulous, responsible, independent and customer oriented Have a capability to lead the project assigned for process improvement Strong problem solving and analytical skills Strong computer and database query skills, specifically in MS Excel and able to create, develop and maintain current or new reporting tools Excellent communication skills Team oriented
