Logistics Team Member

SUMMARY: The Logistics Team Member is responsible gathering, packing, labeling, creating proper documentation, and exporting of finished product.Duties And ResponsibilitiesPackaging, labeling, and associated duties of product line assemblies.Works in a team environment with other team members in the processes of problem solving, suggestion implementation and team building.Works to assure that the customer receives their product on-time and at the proper quality level.Monitors and tracks key operational metrics for ensuring on time deliveries of parts.Supports continuous improvement by participation in employee involvement teams and other continuous improvement initiatives.Maintains good housekeeping and operates equipment in a safe manner at all times. Corrects or communicates to supervision any unsafe condition that you may encounter. Uses all required safety equipment at all times.Performs other related duties as assigned by management.Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Computer skills are highly preferred, but not required.Other skills required:Must be capable of learning multiple logistical duties throughout the warehouse.Must be capable of working all mandatory overtime including weekends.Must be a team player.Must be capable of reading written operator instructions.Physical Demands And Work EnvironmentHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment is preferredAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamFrequently required to stand, walk, bend, stoop or kneel.Occasionally work near moving mechanical partsWhile performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually moderateThe employee must occasionally lift and /or move more than 100 pounds.Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
