PurposeCampus Admission Representatives are responsible for identifying qualified applicants for admission to The Los Angeles Film School. Campus Admissions Reps provide applicants with information about our college and degree programs, guiding potential students through the enrollment process; all while operating in compliance with state and federal accreditation and institutional policies, and within the parameters of ethical codes of conduct. Campus Admissions Reps immerse themselves in a high volume of conversations with prospective students in response to program inquiries.
In addition, Campus Admission Representatives follow up with potential students securing the necessary paperwork for enrollment and promptly answering all questions to ensure an elevated level of customer service and student satisfaction. This is an in-person, on-campus position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Those that must be performed with or without an ADA Accommodation) Behave as a Los Angeles Film School ambassador and embrace our unique educational model, while maintaining the highest level of integrity, professionalism, and customer service.
Field and service prospective students, engage in compliant and customer-service oriented interviews, and recommend students for enrollment when they have been determined to be a strong candidate for admission to the college. Accurately and completely explain educational programs, expected outcomes, student services, and financial considerations (at a compliant level) to potential students, their parents, and other internal and external clients. Inquire with all prospective students regarding the verification and discovery phases and complete follow-up calls to ensure they satisfactorily meet deadlines. Accurately update student records, dialer dispositions, and other vital pieces of the team workflow.
Assist students directly as they progress from enrollment through registration. Proactively interact with members of Admissions, Financial Aid, Student Advising and Faculty. Participate in on-campus monthly registration, orientation events and other events. Excellent communications and listening abilities; positive team player - with a desire to make a difference Education And/or ExperiencePrevious experience working within Higher Education; Admissions Rep or other student facing positions. Equivalent experience with Customer Service, Organization Ambassador, professional within the Entertainment Industry. Bachelor's degree preferred, but will look at combination of education and experience Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: N/AComputer SkillsStrong knowledge/understanding of Microsoft Office applications. Knowledge of databases and/or CRM systems Zoom and/or Microsoft Teams Environmental Factors are those that are required and performed with or without an accommodation.
This position includes extended time viewing a computer screen, extended time typing and speaking to students and staff both in person or via telephone or video software. Physical Demands are those that are required and performed with or without an accommodation. Employee must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. Work is performed in an office environment and may include sitting or standing for extended periods of time. May be subject to bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping, and lifting to thirty (30) pounds.
Emotional and Mental Demands are those that are required and performed with or without an accommodation. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to have the ability to maintain active customer and employee communication; access, input and retrieve information from the computer system; enter alpha-numeric data into a computerized system often while listening on the telephone.
