Machine Learning Engineer

All technology development is carried out in-house at the main engineering hub.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate in an agile, cross-functional team to design, build, and deploy data-driven products using modern machine learning methods.Implement and operationalize ML models on cloud infrastructure (e.g., Google Cloud Platform) and ensure reliable integration into production environments.Maintain smooth operations across systems, with continuous improvements in quality, scalability, performance, and security.Define and implement best practices in MLOps, optimize existing applications, and introduce new tools and methods to enhance the ML infrastructure.Work closely with data scientists, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to support the complete lifecycle of ML models—from conception and development to deployment, monitoring, and iteration.RequirementsSeveral years of professional experience in software engineering and development.Strong programming skills in Python, Java, and SQL, particularly in data engineering and high-performance data applications.Practical experience with cloud services (preferably GCP), Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines for ML workloads.Comprehensive understanding of MLOps principles and experience managing models throughout their lifecycle.Strong analytical abilities, structured working style, and proactive approach to problem solving.Excellent communication skills and fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage.BenefitsFlexible Work: Flexible working hours, 30 days of annual leave, and up to two remote working days per week.Commuter Benefits: Public transportation pass provided.Team Culture: Regular team events, offsites, volunteer days, and social activities.Professional Growth: Individualized development and training opportunities.Work Environment: Dog-friendly office with an open and inclusive atmosphere.
