Machine Learning Engineer

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer specializing in Generative AI and Natural Language Processing (NLP) to design, build, and scale LLM-powered products. You will work on cutting-edge technologies such as Agentic AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and autonomous assistants, shaping the future of medical AI applications.Responsibilities. End-to-End Development: Design, implement, and deploy LLM-powered applications (e.g., chatbots and agentic workflows) from prototype to production.·       RAG Systems: Build and optimize retrieval pipelines, including document processing, embeddings, vector indexing, query rewriting, and reranking, with strong evaluation metrics.·       Agentic AI: Develop tool-use/function calling, planning-execution loops, and multi-agent collaboration for complex tasks.·       Modeling & Tuning: Lead prompt engineering, guardrail design, evaluation frameworks, and fine-tuning (LoRA/PEFT) when needed.·       MLOps & Productionization: Manage inference services (FastAPI), CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, cost optimization, and scalable deployments.Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.·       Strong Python programming skills with solid foundations in data structures, algorithms, and software engineering.·       Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks.·       Proficiency in embedding models and vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, or Weaviate).·       Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar orchestration frameworks.·       Familiarity with MLOps practices, Docker, APIs, CI/CD, cloud platforms, and version control.·       Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in remote and asynchronous environments.Preferred Qualifications Healthcare domain familiarity: prior exposure to clinical coding systems (ICD-10 and ACHI), medical claims data structures and use cases, and healthcare data standards.Experience mentoring engineers or leading small squads.
