With a robust presence across Canada and the United States, we continue to set the benchmark for quality and innovation in the industry.Position SummaryThe Machine Operator (CNC Operator) is responsible for producing all programs for CNC and are created to optimize machine output and efficiency. Also operating as a backup for work order processing for manufacturing, with all required documentation printed and assembled, both in printed and electronic form. You will be producing CNC programs, routings, material info, layup info, cutting lists, drawings and other information needed for manufacturing. All information must be compiled and checked for accuracy to ensure correct and complete manufacturing.This posting is for an existing vacancy. Key Responsibilities Optimizing CNCs using software programs, ensuring efficiencyCreating CNC programs using the following programs; Mastercam, Holzher HOPS, Holtzher BetternestCreate material information/documentation, such as lay-up lists, and cutting lists through the Holzher (or Ardis) optimizing softwareValidate enough material was ordered (from BOM). Report on Shortages or overages to Production QA and Production Manager immediately for decision/directionCompile the FINAL drawing set for each Batch/Work Order submitted to the plant, ensuring all previous copies have been removed from the plant floor AND that the online version has been updated accordingly. This package includes:Work Order cover page that shows the routingsMaterial list(s) for productionColour scheduleHardware scheduleOther documentation required to successfully manufacture without error or deviation from drawingCommunicate clearly with all Plant/Engineering stakeholders to promote accurate, timely and complete manufacture of products.
