Project title: Maintenance EngineerType of employment: PayrollIndustry: ChemieSkills: Petrochemicals, Maintenance, ChemicalProject start: 01.01.2026Project duration: 12.31.2027Location: Monthey, SwitzerlandTasks:Develop and implement a review methodology for maintenance operations.Compare planned vs. executed work and document discrepancies.Evaluate time estimates and identify time losses to detect gaps in execution.Conduct field assessments of completed or upcoming work and analyze “good hours” vs. billed hours (approx. 80–100 analyses/month).Identify, measure, and document trends in time loss and quality issues for monthly reporting.Analyze data trends and present findings in monthly performance reviews with planning, scheduling, and execution teams.Establish monthly performance indicators for “good hours.”Organize performance reviews and deliver detailed analysis to site teams on efficiency and productivity.Recommend planning improvements based on weekly activity schedules.Identify waste in processes and procedures to enhance team productivity.Qualifications:Degree in a technical field (e.g., industrial equipment builder, pipefitter, polymécanicien).Minimum 8 years of experience in a similar role within the chemical or petrochemical industry.10 years of experience in petrochemical maintenance.Background in metallurgy or mechanical trades preferred.Experience supervising maintenance or project activities.Proven ability to manage third-party contractors.Ability to draft detailed scopes of work and purchase requests.On-site supervision of third-party work execution.Strong command of maintenance planning and scheduling methods.Experience with SAP R3 Maintenance Module (SAP PM).Understanding of maintenance operations, organizational roles, and cross-functional interactions.Ability to accurately assess and analyze maintenance activities.French language knowlegde
