Maintenance Officer – Adelaide VillasAspen Group is a successful and fast growing ASX listed property group. Our focus is to provide quality accommodation on competitive terms in the Living, Lifestyle and Holiday sectors, which are currently in high demand in Australia.  We have a large portfolio of assets in Adelaide and South Australia.Are you a skilled Maintenance Officer with a passion for operating well-maintained communities? We are currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated and hands-on individual responsible for the maintenance/gardening functions of our newest acquisition – a portfolio of 19 retirement villages across multiple sites mainly located in the eastern suburbs collectively known as Adelaide Villas.As the Maintenance Officer you will work closely with the Property Manager to ensure that all villages are well maintained. You’ll also work closely with our South Australian Head Office team to ensure the smooth and compliant operation of the portfolio. The role is based out of our Hackney Head Office but will require regular travel to the villages.The PortfolioA high-quality portfolio of 129 villas/units across 19 villages15 of the 19 villages are predominantly located in Adelaide’s attractive inner-metro eastern suburbs, conveniently located close to the Adelaide CBDVillas/units are currently occupied under a variety of lease types that include standard Residential leases or Retirement Village (RV) licences which are governed by the Retirement Villages Act.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day maintenance/groundskeeping tasks of the portfolio, making sure the villages are presented to the highest standards at all times.Proven experience in general maintenance, repairs, and handyman dutiesAbility to manage preventative maintenance schedules and reactive repairsBasic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasksStrong understanding of safety and compliance requirements in an aged care settingAbility to prioritise tasks and work independently with minimal supervisionGood communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with residents and staffAbout YouMinimum 2 years’ experience in maintenance or related fieldRelevant trade qualifications or certifications (preferred but not essential)Excellent communication and organisational skillsEmployment Basis and Remuneration Full time roleCompetitive remuneration based on the successful applicants’ experience and skillsetBased at our Adelaide Head Office in Hackney.Job ID: 12Location: Hackney, Adelaide SAJob Type: Full Time
