Specific DutiesThe responsibilities of the Lab Technician will include the following · Undertake overall management of material lab testing to construction work· Provides practices for material testing; assist with the test formats, procedure of quality control tests required by the project· Responsible to verify and approve the quality control tests reports· Responsible to verify and approve material test certificates· Perform asphalt, soil, concrete, and material testing primarily· Perform analysis or calculations to check accuracy of test data· Provide technical backstopping on design, technical standards and specification· Undertake test check of construction material samples· Specify and monitor quality assurance plans and quality control tests being conducted· Oversee the work of laboratory· Managing labour force· Assures the work is completed and delivered without any defect and delay· Maintain quality records and material history records· Produce weekly reports based upon quality and production records· Prepare and Monitor production progress and report progress· Undergo activities and practices that comply with the procedures of the company and the specification.
