Management Accountant / Hope Valley / Permanent / $120,000 / / Flexible Working / Free Parking A market leading national engineering business with sites across Australia are looking to recruit a skilled Accountant on a permanent basis. Continued growth has led to the position being recruited. The main purpose of the Management Accountant will be to take ownership of finance and assist the Finance Manager with driving the business forward.  This is a great opportunity to become part of a business that prides itself in developing & looking after their employees. Management Accountant’s key duties will include:Prepare monthly management reports, budgets, and forecastsAnalyse financial results and provide commentary on key variances and trendsPrepare & lodge statutory taxesComplete balance sheet reconciliationsPost daily receipts/payments; complete daily bank reconciliations; reconcile corporate cards and petty cashProcessing journalsManagement the fixed asset register, manage additions/disposals, and run depreciation.Support year-end reporting, audit requirements, and ad hoc projectsPartner with operational and leadership teams to improve financial performanceDevelop and maintain financial models to support business planningContribute to process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives Key skills required:Experience of being in a similar roleStrong analytical and reporting skillsExcellent & confident communication skillsProven at improving processesConfident with systems including excel If you are interested in the role, please contact Mark Caunce on 0435336512 or mark.caunce@coretalent.com.au immediately.
