Job Description

The FP&A Manager for Operating Assets will be responsible for management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, analysis, and performance monitoring of some of Qiddiya's operating assets, including theme parks, hotels, golf courses, and sports venues. This role serves as a bridge between the FP&A department, the Finance Business Partner function, and the Asset Management/Operating Assets teams, working closely with FBPs to provide decision support, performance insights, and strategic financial recommendations.Essential duties and responsibilities: Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans for operating assets in collaboration with FBPs and Asset ManagementSupport scenario planning for pre-opening, ramp-up, and stabilization phases of assetsTrack and analyze actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and actionable insights to FBPs, asset managers, and leadershipDevelop dashboards and performance reports in collaboration with the FP&A reporting team using tools like Power BI and AnaplanCollaborate with FBPs as finance's point of contact for asset management and operating teams, supporting operational leaders with financial insightsPartner with FBP and Asset Management on key decisions regarding pricing, operating models, and investment proposalsEvaluate new operating asset initiatives, expansions, and capital investment proposals from a financial perspectiveBenchmark the performance of Qiddiya's assets against industry standards and provide insights into key operational drivers such as attendance, occupancy, yield, and utilizationEnsure integration of operating assets' financial data into FP&A tools, streamline reporting processes, and support governance to maintain data accuracy, consistency, and complianceDrive continuous improvement initiatives for financial processes, reporting tools, and asset performance monitoringRequirementsBachelor's degree in finance or business managementProfessional certifications such as CPA, CA, or ACCA are highly recognized7+ experience in finance and financial planning & analysis (FP&A) is required, preferably within asset-intensive sectors (such as hospitality, theme parks, sports, or entertainment)Exhibited exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in assessing intricate financial and operational data to provide actionable recommendationsPossess a robust business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of asset dynamics related to operating environments, including theme parks, hotels, sports venues, and entertainment assetsProven history of collaborating with cross-functional teams and effectively engaging with senior stakeholdersExceptional communication and presentation skills for conveying financial insights and preparing reports for executive leadershipCapability to manage a multitude of priorities, deadlines, and projects within a dynamic, fast-paced settingA collaborative mindset with the ability to drive outcomes even without direct authority
