Ltd.Supervisory Responsibilities: YesPosition SummaryWe are looking for a highly analytical and results-oriented Strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain strategy and operations in a manufacturing setup. The role is critical to enhancing supply chain performance across sourcing, production planning, logistics, and inventory, while ensuring cost efficiency, delivery effectiveness, and seamless integration with business goals.The incumbent will work cross-functionally to streamline supply chain processes, lead digital and process transformation, and build a resilient and sustainable supply network. Exposure to manufacturing operations such as press work, die casting, and light precision machining is essential.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement long-term supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives, focusing on cost optimization, efficiency, risk mitigation, and sustainability.Forecast demand, analyze production capacity, and monitor inventory to support production and fulfillment goals.Drive sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, contract management, and periodic supplier performance reviews.Lead supply chain excellence initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement tools.Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, production, quality, finance, and sales) to ensure alignment and efficient material flow.Monitor KPIs related to cost, service levels, inventory turns, and on-time delivery, and drive corrective actions as needed.Champion digital supply chain initiatives, including SAP systems and advanced analytics, to enhance transparency and decision-making.Manage strategic projects such as NPI readiness, capacity planning, and global sourcing rollouts.Ensure seamless integration of supply chain practices with manufacturing processes like press work, die casting, and light precision machining.Key Skills & CompetenciesExpertise in ERP systems, preferably SAP, and advanced Excel/analytics toolsStrong business acumen and ability to drive data-backed decisionsExcellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skillsDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver on KPIsAdaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing setupQualification & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business AdministrationCertification in Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent process improvement frameworks preferredMinimum 7 years of experience in supply chain functions, with at least 3 years in a managerial/strategic role in a manufacturing environmentExposure to manufacturing processes such as press work, die casting, and light precision machining is requiredProven track record in supplier management, production planning, logistics, and inventory controlWe are the ASSA ABLOY GroupOur people have made us the global leader in access solutions.
