If you thrive in dynamic, tech-enabled environments and enjoy building strong control frameworks, this role offers meaningful impact and long-term growth potential.AccountabilitiesLead and supervise the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for assigned entities, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.Manage accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and financial record integrity within core finance systems (SAP S/4HANA or similar).Oversee and mentor a team of accountants and senior accountants, fostering high performance and accountability.Coordinate with external finance outsourcing partners to ensure completeness and accuracy of accounting transactions.Deliver financial reporting and analysis, including support for statutory filings and management reporting requirements.Design, review, and test internal financial controls to maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and Dutch GAAP standards.Drive process optimization and automation initiatives to enhance scalability and efficiency within the finance function.Maintain and continuously improve accounting policies, procedures, and operational control frameworks.RequirementsFluency in English and Spanish.Post-qualified accounting experience with strong technical accounting expertise.Proven experience managing and developing accounting teams.Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Dutch GAAP, with strong understanding of financial and operational controls.Experience with SAP (ideally SAP S/4HANA) or comparable ERP systems.Background in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a high-growth or scaling environment.Experience working with large datasets and complex financial structures.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, hyper-growth setting.Experience collaborating with outsourced finance teams.Comfort working in a remote or asynchronous work environment is a plus.BenefitsCompetitive annual salary ranging from $43,050 to $96,850 USD, depending on location, experience, and skills.Above-market, location-adjusted compensation aligned with a global pay equity philosophy.Fully remote work model — work from anywhere.Flexible working hours with an asynchronous collaboration culture.Flexible paid time off.16 weeks of paid parental leave.Mental health support services.Stock options.Learning and development budget.Home office budget and IT equipment provided.Budget for local coworking spaces or in-person social events.Strong internal mobility opportunities and structured career growth support.Why Apply Through Jobgether?We use an AI-powered matching process to ensure your application is reviewed quickly, objectively, and fairly against the role's core requirements.
