Manager, Actuarial

Position Title : Manager, ActuarialDepartment : ActuarialReporting to : General Manager, ActuarialJOB PURPOSE / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:Lead the setup and execution of regular reserve and solvency calculations for both regulatory and group reporting.Develop and maintain actuarial models for valuation, business planning, and ad-hoc financial projections; ensure new product models are correctly integrated into Prophet.Conduct annual experience studies and prepare regulatory reports, including actuarial opinion reports.Perform actuarial investigations, such as persistency analysis and other relevant studies.Support the development, testing, and go-live readiness of IFRS 17 implementation, including parallel runs.Provide technical support on actuarial and product-related matters across departments.Foster a strong learning culture by encouraging actuarial study and exam-taking, while actively building technical competency within the local actuarial team.Participate in other tasks or projects as assigned by management from time to time. JOB REQUIREMENTS:Minimum 5 years of relevant actuarial experience in the life insurance industry.Associateship of a recognized actuarial body (e.g. SoA, IFoA, IAAust), or strong progress in actuarial exams.Proficiency in English communication, verbal & written.A team player, hard-working, committed & with good interpersonal skills.
