Join Fazer Finance Operations as Manager, Asset Accounting and Tax Compliance Are you a finance professional with a passion for accounting and taxes? Fazer is looking for a proactive and experienced Manager, Asset Accounting and Tax Compliance to join our Finance Operations team.As Process Manager for asset accounting, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining and reporting on our fixed asset and IFRS 16 leasing items. In addition to daily and monthly activities, you will create and maintain internal process guidelines, develop and coordinate fixed asset and IFRS 16 leasing accounting processes and act as AA and RE-FX super user for our ERP system. You will also play a key role in our tax compliance process, performing Nordic direct and indirect tax operations. Together with the team, you will handle monthly tax tasks and reporting. As VAT and corporate tax expert, you will ensure our processes comply with local legislation, IFRS regulations, and internal policies.In this role, you will create and coordinate process improvement initiatives, share knowledge, collaborate with the team, and train and guide others. As system and process expert, you will also participate in asset accounting and tax -related projects. A key aspect of your role is active collaboration with both finance and business colleagues across Fazer, as well as with external partners such as tax authorities and external auditors.This permanent position is based in Vaarala, Vantaa, where we primarily work onsite. Your professionalism is based on financial education and several years of hands-on experience in accounting and taxation. You have a comprehensive understanding of asset accounting and tax processes and are well-versed in local legislation and IFRS regulations. Previous experience from SAP FICO and advanced Excel skills are essential, experience with Aico, automation tools, and Power BI is considered as asset. In addition, you have experience in project and process development work, and you are skilled in leading processes in an efficient manner.Your problem-solving abilities, forward-looking mindset, and focus on continuous improvement will be invaluable in this fast-paced and rewarding role. You are detail-oriented yet able to see the big picture. Known for your supportive and positive approach, you have strong interpersonal skills and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
