They lead research and analytics to uncover trends, measure performance, and identify opportunities across channels and categories. By blending quantitative rigor with strategic storytelling, they equip teams with insights that shape marketing, innovation and overall business impact.Innovation Responsibilities: Identify opportunities for product innovation based on market trends, consumer insights and social listening dataResearch emerging technologies, ingredients and formulations in the beauty industryCollaborate cross-functionally with R&D, marketing, and PD teams to bring innovative concepts to marketStay current on industry innovations and recommend potential partnershipsMarketing Analytics Responsibilities: Lead comprehensive analysis of customer behavior across multiple ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Meta Checkout, TikTok Shop) and CRM platforms (Email/SMS)Monitor and optimize key performance metrics including take rate, CTR, CVR, ROAS, AOV, CLTV, and other critical performance indicatorsDevelop and maintain sophisticated dashboards in Shopify, GA4, and other analytics platforms to track performance and identify growth opportunitiesDesign and evaluate A/B tests and personalization efforts in partnership with the digital team to optimize user experience and conversion ratesIdentify emerging trends and opportunities across digital marketing channels to provide actionable insights that drive profitable growthSegment and analyze customer cohorts to inform lifecycle strategies, loyalty programs, retention initiatives and CRM optimizationsProvide data-driven insights on purchase behavior patterns to maximize cart value and encourage repeat purchasesSupport the launch and optimizations of new programs including subscription services, loyalty initiatives and international expansion with robust data analysisPartner with data engineering and web development teams to ensure clean data collection, proper tagging implementation and overall data pipeline healthEvaluate and integrate analytics tools and vendors as needed, leading the RFP process and Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) and Multi-Touch Attribution (MTA) toolsSocial Listening Responsibilities:Analyze social media conversations, trends and consumer feedback across platforms to gain actionable insights for product development and marketing strategiesTrack Competitor activities, industry developments and emerging beauty trends through social listening toolsPrepare regular reports on social sentiment, identifying opportunities and potential issues that could impact brand reputationCollaborate with marketing and product teams to translate social listening insights into actionable recommendationsDevelop and optimize social listening dashboards to track key performance indicators and consumer sentiment metricsRequirements:Minimum 4-5 years of experience in market analysis, and data insights and analyticsBachelor’s degree in Market Research, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related quantitative field. A master's degree or MBA is a plusStrong ability to analyze and synthesize disparate information from multiple data sources into a holistic story with strategic implications and recommendations. Capable of turning complex information into simple and understandable messagingInherently curious, proactive, and enjoys digging beyond the surface to uncover insights. Exceptional at finding trends and the story in the data, articulating the “so what,” and translating insights into strategic, actionable recommendationsPassionate about customer-centricity and data-driven strategy, with the ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholdersOutstanding analytical, critical thinking, and organizational skills with extreme attention to detail. Ability to focus on both strategy and executionExcellent written and verbal communication and data story-telling skills, including the ability to clearly present findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
