Manager – Business Operation Package – 300k + CommissionsReporting to – Borad of Directors Client - Rapidly growing digital marketplace Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the BuyMe.lk marketplace, ensuring optimal platform performance and operational efficiency.Drive business growth through vendor acquisition, category expansion, and strategic partnerships that enhance overall platform value.Lead and coordinate business development, marketing, customer service, and key operational functions to ensure alignment and high performance.Develop and implement short-term and long-term strategies to increase revenue, market share, and brand visibility.Monitor platform analytics, performance metrics, and operational KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement and support data-driven decision-making.Manage, mentor, and guide department heads and cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and timely delivery.Lead high-value negotiations with major vendors, partners, and external service providers to secure favourable business agreements.Ensure an excellent customer experience across all touchpoints, including listing quality, user interface, onboarding flows, and customer support.Collaborate closely with IT and Operations teams to enhance platform features, improve functionality, and elevate the user experience.Provide senior leadership with clear reports, insights, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to support business decisions.Expected Profile 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace operations, digital business, or large-scale commercial roles.Strong understanding of e-commerce trends, digital marketing, and customer behaviour.Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, IT, or a related field (preferred).Proven experience in leading teams, managing business units, or overseeing operational functions.Solid knowledge of marketplace ecosystems, vendor management, and digital revenue models.Strong analytical thinking, strategic planning abilities, and problem-solving skills.Share your updated CV to careers@talentexpress.lkFollow our LinkedIn page for upcoming vacancies WhatsApp – 0779 391 791 Web - www.talentexpress.lk
