We have four key business areas responsible for efficiently bringing the best of HSBC to our clients through a broad and relevant suite of wealth and retail banking capabilities: Asset Management, Global Private Banking & Wealth, HSBC Life, Retail Banking & Strategy and COO & Digital Transformation.We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Manager, Consumer Loans.Principal ResponsibilitiesIn this role you willFormulate and implement Personal Loans business strategies and new initiatives to achieve business targets on acquisition and portfolios to foster sustainable growth in loan balances, revenue and market shareCollaborate with Risk team on credit policy refinement to balance risk and return as well as ensuring regulatory requirements are metActively work with various stakeholders including channels, marketing, operations and underwriting on application flow and process for a customer centric and cost-effective journeyWork closely with data analytics team to develop business insights, identify business gaps and opportunitiesMonitor the market dynamic and competitive activities to keep abreast of the product trends, pricing and offers, and customers’ expectationsQualifications - ExternalTo be successful you will needUniversity degree holder, preferably majoring in Business Administration or a related disciplineWork experience on personal loan or card lending is preferred. Experience in digital projects or analytical areas would be a plusStrong financial acumen and project management skillsSelf-driven with strong drive and positive working attitudeExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with critical thinkingAble to work with stakeholders from various functions and disciplines to drive business outcomesFluent in Cantonese and English with good presentation skillsDue to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.The chosen candidate for this role will be required to undergo enhanced vetting.
