This role offers broad exposure to the senior leadership team, cross-functional partners, and the full spectrum of corporate development—from idea generation and valuation through deal execution and integration support. The role also supports the Office of the CFO with capital markets and treasury initiatives.When it comes to dating, the connection starts online, but the real magic happens once you meet in real life (IRL). We think the same is true for creating the best platforms, so we work together IRL in our New York City or Los Angeles offices 3 days/week.How You’ll Make an Impact:Support the end-to-end M&A and investment process, including opportunity evaluation, valuation, diligence, and deal executionConduct detailed financial modeling and valuation analyses (DCF, precedent transactions, comparable companies, accretion/dilution analysis)Prepare investment memos and strategic presentations for senior leadership and the Board of DirectorsMonitor M&A activity, industry trends, competitive environment, peer earnings, and other market intelligence to inform strategic planning and investment thesesCollaborate with internal teams to assess strategic opportunities and build relationships with emerging and established companiesAssist in the negotiation of key transaction terms and review of definitive documentationMaintain internal trackers for deal pipeline, competitive intelligence, and valuation compsWork closely with Executive, Finance and Business Unit leadership in inorganic strategy formulation, deal sourcing and origination, financial analysis and valuation, negotiation and executionHelp identify and assess strategic opportunities and build relationships with emerging and established companiesBe a great communicator, both one-on-one with functional colleagues and internal clients, and in group settingsDeliver successfully on multiple initiatives in a highly dynamic environment, while calm under pressureWe Could Be a Match if You Have:3+ years of experience in investment banking (preferably M&A or Tech), private equity, venture capital, or corporate developmentBachelor’s degree required (Finance, Economics, Business, or related field). MBA is a plus, but not requiredStrong expertise in financial modeling and strategic analysis in transactional environmentsExceptional communication skills — both verbal and written — with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, actionable insightsHigh attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and sound judgmentA collaborative and proactive mindset; thrives in lean, fast-paced, and high-performance environmentsExpert-level proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with tools like SensorTower, FactSet, PitchBook, or Tableau is a plusInterest or experience in the consumer internet, technology / media, or mobile app sectors is highly preferredWillingness to travel and ability to manage shifting priorities as neededWhy Match Group?Our mission is simple – to help people find love and happiness! This salary range is reflective of a position based in New York City and Los Angeles, CA. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment (according to a specific city and state), if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
