Manager – Events And Retail Sales

Four Star, a leading and award-winning mattress manufacturer with over five decades of industry presence in Singapore, is seeking an experienced Manager – Events & Retail Sales to oversee our retail activation strategy, on-ground sales initiatives, and brand event execution.Role SummaryThe Manager – Events & Retail Sales will be responsible for driving retail gallery performance, managing nationwide roadshows and pop-up activations, and ensuring high operational standards across all customer touchpoints. This role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen, and proven experience in delivering effective sales-driven events and retail programs.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales strategies for retail galleries, exhibitions, and pop-up stores.Oversee gallery operations, visual merchandising, and retail promotional activities.Plan, manage, and execute brand and sales events, including feasibility assessments for retail expansion.Identify, evaluate, and secure strategic venues; lead roadshow planning and on-site execution.Recruit, train, and supervise promoters and retail sales teams to optimize productivity.Align marketing activities with business objectives and ensure consistent brand representation.Manage event operations, including inventory, payments, logistics, and compliance requirements.Monitor market trends, contribute to strategic business planning, and support organisational initiatives.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.6–10 years of experience in retail sales, events management, trade marketing, or related fields.Demonstrated leadership capability and strong project and vendor management skills.Proven experience in planning and executing roadshows and events; strong mall network preferred.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM/ERP systems and event planning tools.About Four Star MattressSince 1968, Four Star has established itself as a trusted and reputable brand in Singapore, known for delivering quality sleep solutions backed by numerous international and local awards.
