Job Description

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the organization’s automation journey, driving digitization initiatives, and ensuring successful adoption across functions. This role requires strong collaboration with business teams, technical stakeholders, and vendors to deliver scalable, user-friendly, and compliant automation solutions.Key Roles & Responsibilities:Program Leadership & GovernanceManage the end-to-end digitization and automation program in collaboration with functional and technical teams, with guidance of IT head. Establish governance mechanisms, timelines, and reporting structures for automation projects. Act as a single point of accountability for planning, execution, and delivery. Process Assessment & PrioritizationEvaluate business processes in consultation with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities. Prioritize automation requirements based on compliance needs, business impact, effort, and ROI. Build a pipeline and roadmap of automation initiatives aligned with organizational objectives. Requirement Gathering & Solution DesignSupport functional teams in creating detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) capturing workflows, decision points, exceptions, and scenarios. Translate business requirements into technical architecture and process flows for automation. Design robust, user-friendly, and scalable applications that align with workflows, functional specifications, and required integrations. Development & Platform ManagementOversee development efforts by internal IT teams or external vendors to ensure timely delivery. Manage configuration and solution design on low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Zoho Creator). Ensure adherence to development best practices, documentation, data security, and compliance standards. Testing & Quality AssuranceConduct unit testing, system integration testing, and regression testing to validate quality and performance. Coordinate and support end-user departments for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Capture feedback and oversee corrections, optimizations, or enhancements before deployment. Deployment & Change ManagementEnsure smooth deployment and go-live of applications, with minimal disruption to business operations. Develop and maintain project documentation including user guides, SOPs, and technical documentation. Facilitate user training, adoption support, and change management initiatives. Continuous Improvement & SupportMonitor deployed applications for performance, stability, and user experience. Implement enhancements and resolve issues based on post-implementation feedback. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and digital adoption across the organization.
