Together, we formed the Cintana Alliance, a global network of universities committed to meeting the increasing demand for excellent post-secondary education.Role DescriptionPosition Title: Manager of Health Sciences Education and ProductsArea: Health Sciences – Cintana Education, LLCReports to: Health Sciences Director of Education and ProductsLocation: Remote (Latin America - Mexico, Ecuador, Chile, Honduras, Perú)The Manager of Health Sciences Education and Products is responsible for implementing and supporting the educational initiatives defined by Cintana Health Sciences, ensuring alignment with the Cintana Learning Model for Health Sciences. The position focuses on designing, executing and continuously improving faculty development programs, curriculum implementation, instructional design, and educational product development and management. This role works collaboratively with academic leaders, faculty, and internal teams to translate educational strategies into practice, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, contemporary learning experiences across the Cintana Alliance.Key Responsibilities1. Faculty DevelopmentDesign and implement in-person and online faculty training programs aligned with the Cintana Learning Model for Health Sciences.Update and maintain training resources to reflect best practices in teaching and learning.Deliver in-person workshops and support training replicas across Cintana Alliance institutions.Build and deliver online courses through the Canvas LMS, managing enrollment and completion.2. Curriculum Design and Academic DeliverySupport the execution of curriculum design and development initiatives for health sciences programs.Oversee, support, and report the implementation of contemporary learning methodologies.Routinely review learning session documentation samples to ensure quality, alignment, and adherence to pedagogical standards.3. Instructional DesignGuide faculty in developing effective, engaging, and goal-oriented learning experiences.Integrate digital resources and contemporary learning methodologies into course designs.Foster consistent application of innovative educational practices in the Health Sciences Schools across the Alliance.4. Product ManagementParticipate in the conceptualization, design, and development of educational products and tools. Support the implementation and launch of educational products across the Alliance.Develop communication and adoption plans, map user experiences, and execute campaign.Collect and analyze product usage data to measure effectiveness and propose improvements.Collaborate with institutional teams to ensure proper implementation and impact of educational products.5. Collaboration and Institutional SupportCoordinate with institutional teams to ensure consistent implementation of educational initiatives.Work closely with the Health Sciences Director of Education and Products to align academic operations with strategic goals.Represent Cintana Health Sciences in meetings and professional forums related to faculty development and learning innovation.Profile RequirementsEducationBachelor’s degree in Health Sciences (Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry, or related fields).Master’s degree in Education, Health Professions Education, Educational Technology, or Learning Design (preferred).ExperienceMinimum 7 years of experience in higher education, preferably in health sciences.Proven experience in faculty development, curriculum design, instructional design, and product implementation.Experience working with LMS platforms (Canvas preferred) and blended learning strategies.Skills and CompetenciesEducational Implementation: Ability to operationalize and monitor educational initiatives.Instructional Design Expertise: Proficiency in developing impactful learning experiences.Curriculum Development: Knowledge of health sciences pedagogy and contemporary methodologies.Communication and Presentation: Strong ability to design and deliver presentations (Keynote, Canva).Collaboration and Adaptability: Effective cross-cultural and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.Innovation Mindset: Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and openness to transformation and educational innovation.Language RequirementsFull fluency in Spanish (spoken and written).Professional fluency in English.Other RequirementsAvailability to travel internationally (6–8 trips per year).Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and adaptability in a dynamic, international education environment.
