Our client in the financial services industry is looking for a Manager of Sales to join their team for a full-time permanent role in Calgary. This hybrid role requires working in the ooffice two days a week and offers three weeks of vacation, a full benefits package, and an RSP. The Sales Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth. This role oversees day-to-day sales operations, ensures consistent execution of sales strategies, and fosters strong client and internal relationships. The Sales Manager plays a key role in territory planning, performance management, and improving overall sales effectiveness.Roles and ResponsibilitiesProvide hands-on coaching and leading a team of Business Development Sales Associates to support prospecting efforts, increase sales, and strengthen advisor relationships.Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture through regular communication, ongoing coaching, and timely feedback.Ensure regional adherence to compliance expectations and internal policies, including proper expense management and approval processes.Ensure territory models support balanced workload distribution, clear segmentation, and efficient alignment of key sales activities.Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and emerging opportunities that could influence sales strategy or advisor needs.Qualifications and SkillsUniversity degree or equivalent experience.10+ years in sales and experience working in financial services/banking.Experience managing, coaching, training, and developing employees, in a sales environment.Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).Ability to coach and motivate team members to excel.Ability to set clear expectations and align work with team, regional, and business goals.
