Through clinical excellence and cutting-edge research, SCRI is redefining cancer care around the world.As the Manager of Study Operations you will provide leadership in the startup, enrollment, closeout and overall study management of clinical trials. You will be responsible for establishing effective working relationships with senior management, principal and sub-investigators, study teams, sponsors and other external consultants.You will manage performance and professional development of study operations colleagues You will create, monitor, document and follow departmental SOPs, WPGs and corporate guidelines. You will plan and track all clinical trial activity assigned to the department, including startup, enrollment and closeout You will develop status reports based on department metrics and communicate to leadership You will review proposed clinical trial budgets and protocols; assess feasibility and data requirements prior to initiation as well as on an ongoing basis You will ensure, review and approve source documentation as You will assist in slot management for monthly enrollment to ensure appropriate clinical trials are prioritized and accrued You will build and maintain strong industry sponsor and internal team relationships to ensure effective communication You will prepare ad hoc reports for leadership, sponsor, CROs and other individuals/groups as needed You will receive and triage information requests; research and provide information where appropriate You will maintain positive and cooperative relationships in day-to-day interactions and communications You will promote effective teamwork among Study Coordinators Data Coordinators You will communicate and escalate unresolved issues at the appropriate time and to the appropriate level of leadership You Will NeedKnowledge of FDA guidelines and GCP Must be able to read, understand and comply with research protocols Strong computer skills with demonstrated ability using clinical trial databases, electronic data capture, MS Access and MS Excel At least one year of research experience Bachelor Degree preferred CCRP/CCRA Certification preferred About Sarah Cannon Research InstituteSarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI) is one of the world’s leading oncology research organizations conducting community-based clinical trials.
