A leading global consumer products and entertainment brand is seeking a professional, detail-oriented Manager, Retail Development to support its growing Consumer Products organization. This role is responsible for pitching, developing, and executing consumer products programs across major U.S. retail accounts while collaborating cross-functionally to bring franchise and licensing opportunities to life at retail.The ideal candidate brings licensed consumer products experience, a strong understanding of entertainment IP, and a passion for shaping impactful retail programs. This position also includes selling in publishing titles (though this is not the primary focus), managing program development, handling contracts, and exploring select business development opportunities.Pay: $63-73/hrDuration: 12/01/2025 to 06/14/2026Location: El Segundo, CA - May travel as needed (approximately 10%)What You’ll DoSupport the creation and execution of U.S. retail strategies across assigned accounts and all non-toy licensed categories.Develop compelling brand and entertainment pitches and confidently present to retail partners.Bring retail experiences to life through strategic, cross-category presentations and program execution.Lead coordination of retail marketing and media campaigns in partnership with internal teams and external agencies.Build and maintain strong relationships with retail buyers, marketing managers, agencies, and suppliers to ensure successful program execution.Partner with category leads, licensees, and franchise teams to troubleshoot retail placement challenges and advocate for licensee needs.Handle program development tasks, including contract-related workflows and cross-functional coordination.Share retail updates, insights, and opportunities with internal partners and licensees.Collaborate with commercial sales teams on cross-category retail presentations and participate in joint business planning.Identify “white space” opportunities by staying informed on retailer strategies and consumer behavior trends.Build financial budget recommendations for retail programs and support tracking/reconciliation to maximize ROI.Support additional business development opportunities as needed.May travel as required (approximately 10%).Please submit your resume for consideration.You can use WorkGrades to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose by visiting workgrades.com/home/candidate.
