A well-established beauty brand is seeking a skilled Video Editor to join its in-house creative team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical editing capabilities, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced post-production environment. Location: Culver City/Mar Vista (Onsite, Monday–Friday)Type: Temp To HirePay: 38-43/hr | 80k-90k (DOE)ResponsibilitiesEdit a wide range of content including TikTok and Instagram Reels, YouTube videos, brand films, sizzles, and case studiesImport, transcode, sync, and organize raw footage according to established workflowsCreate rough assemblies, string-outs, and timelines based on briefs, scripts, or creative directionSupport light color correction, audio leveling, and basic motion graphics needsMaintain organized project files, labeling structures, and storage systems across shared drives and cloud platformsExport and deliver final assets in varying codecs, formats, and aspect ratiosManage revisions, version control, and file delivery according to specificationsCollaborate with senior editors, creative directors, producers, and other team membersTroubleshoot basic post-production issues related to software, hardware, or workflowStay informed on emerging editing tools, platform requirements, and industry best practicesRequirements2+ years of professional video editing or post-production experience (internships and freelance work welcome)Bachelor's degree preferredProficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite is a plusFamiliarity with DaVinci ResolveExperience with ARRI, RED, Canon, or Phantom workflowsOn-set DIT experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of codecs, file formats, and post-production workflowsExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong communication abilities and the capacity to work both independently and in a collaborative environmentDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced settingInterest in beauty, fashion, or consumer lifestyle contentMust be available to work onsite Monday–Friday Please submit your resume for consideration.You can use WorkGrades to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose by visiting workgrades.com/home/candidate.
