Manual Penetration Tester Fully RemoteWe're proud to be working with a renowned MSP in support of their search for an experienced Manual Penetration Tester.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out hands-on penetration testing across applications, infrastructure, and networks, with a particular focus on web apps and security productsDeliver highly technical and effective security engagements through hands on systematic and innovative testingLead teams on client engagements as well as working aloneDeliver detailed and actionable penetration test reports efficientlyExplain complex security issues in a clear, business-focused way to different audiences, from technical development teams to senior non-technical management teams.Required experienceProven history in the delivery of manual penetration testing (Application and Infrastructure)A solid understanding of TCP/IP and networking conceptsExtensive knowledge in the testing of Web-based applicationsKnowledge or experience of security build reviews for all common operating systemsComfortable with programming in one or more languagesDeep knowledge of databases, including security considerations and database hardening techniquesSolid technical understanding of web applications, including web server design and implementationMust be eligible for SC clearance and be willing to travel as required to client sites with the UK.Please apply for an initial chat, more information on the role and a full job description.
