Manual QA Lead

HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self- motivated Manual QA Lead to join it in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity.Job Title: Manual QA LeadJob ID: 1627192BRPosition Type: Full TimeLocation: Burlingame CA, (Onsite)ResponsibilitiesWork onsite daily at Burlingame, CA office.Collaborate with cross-functional teams; handle feature bring-up and ad-hoc requests from other engineering teams.Develop test strategies and test plans for new products and features.Author and maintain test cases, including:Adding cases to established areas.Editing existing cases for accuracy.Create and assign test runs.Review, triage, and de-duplicate bugs; maintain bug tracking hygiene.Provide test status reporting to stakeholders.Execute targeted ad-hoc testing for undocumented areas.Perform test case execution and validate bug fixes.Investigate and report software and hardware bugs.Review bug reports from other team members for completeness and accuracy.Analyze logs to derive root cause of issues.Prepare clear and concise reports on test results and findings.Use debugging tools such as Visual Studio, gdb, Android Studio, adb, etc.Work with commonly used bug-tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or Mantis.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.Experience in test strategy, test plan development, and test case authoring.Proficiency in test execution, bug investigation, and bug fix verification.Familiarity with debugging tools (Visual Studio, gdb, Android Studio, adb) and command-line utilities.Ability to analyze logs and derive root cause of issues.Competency in creating clear, concise reports and documentation.Hands-on experience with bug-tracking systems such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Mantis.Knowledge of wireless technologies (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth) and Android platform testing is a plus.Pay and BenefitsPay Range Minimum: $79000 /annumPay Range Maximum: $98000/annumHCLTech is an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees regardless of race, religion, sex, color, age, national origin, pregnancy, sexual orientation, physical disability or genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other protected classification, in accordance with federal, state, and/or local law.
