Manufacturing Junior Engineer

An excellent opportunity in a dynamic manufacturing environment, for a Global Oil & Gas Service company!KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIESSupport to prepare plans with detailed drawings that include project specifications and cost estimatesHelp in contributing to new business initiatives and projects and help review and communicate the impact on Lean activitiesObserve to present analysis results and project solutions to technical leads, senior leaders and clients as necessaryParticipate to develop a robust continuous improvement strategy in partnership with the Management Team and key business stakeholdersImplement and support cultural change across the organization and drive business improvementLearn to develop, deliver and support delivery of business improvement change initiatives. Develop and contribute towards improvement standards in line with best practiceObserve to undertake business process analysis, statistical analysis for improvement and to support wider changeObserve how to lead, define and develop continuous improvement activities designed to improve performance, such as the planning and running of lean eventsCollaborate to perform root cause analysis and resolve problemsCollaborate to conduct risk assessments of processes and tasks in the departmentHelp to ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and visitorsQUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTSBachelor degree in EngineeringPrevious Oil and Gas experience is Preferredknowledge of Six Sigma, FMEAWorking knowledge of MS Office and ERP systemsGood reporting and documentation skills
