Company DescriptionMarine Charging Point Ltd provides world-class charging and monitoring systems for the marine environment, including onboard ferries, other vessels, and shoreside infrastructure in ports, marinas, and harbors. Our proprietary CYAN EVCSMS charging system is continuously developed, and our Early Warning System is deployed onboard vessels to ensure optimal performance. Role DescriptionThis is a part-time hybrid role for an Accountant located in Turku or the nearby area. The Accountant will be responsible for managing the company's financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Day-to-day tasks include bookkeeping, payroll, handling accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, financial reporting, and conducting financial analysis. Additionally, the Accountant will assist with audits, tax filings, and the implementation of financial policies and procedures as well as project financial controlling.
QualificationsProficiency in bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable and payroll, according to Finnish (and preferably also Swedish and international) standardsExperience in budgeting, financial reporting, and basic financial analysis/forecastingKnowledge of accounting standards and tax regulationsStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent organizational and time management skillsExperience with accounting software and Microsoft ExcelBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldProfessional certification (e. g. , CPA) is a plusExperience in working with project economy is a plusThe role can potentially grow into full-time later on.
The work can be conducted either on consultancy basis or as an employee, but we are not looking to purchase services from an accounting agency - this role is intended for a person to work within the company. We are flexible with a hybrid work setup and working hours, but some of the work will have to be performed at our premises in Turku.
