Do you have what it takes?Are you:Passionate about working with people?A creative thinker with a positive attitude & outlook?A strong dynamic communicator able to collaborate effectively?Willing to learn, adapt & grow in a fast paced work environment?WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE?This exciting proposition allows you to work with Etiqa, a leader in the insurance sector, optimizing your unique skill set, and getting onboard our journey towards “Making The World A Better Place”.SCOPE OVERVIEWResponsible for underwriting new and existing Marine Cargo, Marine Hull and Freight Forwarders/Bailees Liability to achieve profitabilityDevelop and grow marine portfolio by generating new business within guideline and delegated authorityResponsible for managing relationship with intermediaries/partners to achieve the company goalsEstablished clients/broker relationshipsFamiliar with marine clauses, terms and conditionsDemonstrates analytical skills, effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skillsProvide training to clients/intermediaries on on-line policy issuanceAbility to provide technical advice to clients/intermediaries/internal stakeholdersPresentation/training to intermediaries and internal stakeholdersAdhere to Underwriting guidelines, Compliance and Risk ManagementProvide guidance and coaching to support staffREQUIREMENTSMinimum 5 years’ experience handling Marine Cargo/Marine Hull/Freight Forwarders/Bailees LiabilityKnowledge of Marine insurance processes and policy wordingsProficient in MS Words, Excel, PowerpointPossess at least the certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or any other equivalent qualifications ie AAII, ACIIMeticulous, have an eye on detailsSelf-motivated, disciplinedAble to work independentlyA team player
