Based in Houston, the Marketing and Communications Leader will play a central role in amplifying Utility’s brand and global presence. This individual will support the planning and execution of integrated marketing initiatives that connect Utility’s vision to customers, partners, and policymakers worldwide.The role requires a versatile professional who is both strategic and hands-on, capable of crafting compelling content, managing campaigns and events, and ensuring brand consistency across markets. This position will serve as the bridge between the company’s global strategy and its business execution, supporting leadership visibility and market engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Executive team to implement global marketing and communications strategies. Develop and manage content across the web, social media, presentations, and press materials. Coordinate Utility’s presence at conferences, exhibitions, and industry events, including logistics, collateral, and follow-up. Support public relations and media outreach, including interviews, announcements, and thought-leadership opportunities. Monitor industry trends and analyze campaign performance to inform strategic decision-making. Foster collaboration across internal teams: Business Development, Engineering, and Executive Leadership, ensuring messaging alignment and timely communication. Candidate ProfileExperience: 5–8 years of experience in marketing and communications, ideally within hydrogen, industrial process technologies, or sustainability sectors. Expertise: Strong storytelling, digital marketing, and event coordination capabilities. Mindset: Highly organized, adaptable, and resourceful; able to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to distill complex energy technologies and ideas into clear and engaging narratives. Collaboration: Culturally aware and confident working across time zones and disciplines. The Marketing and Communications Manager will play a vital role in connecting Utility’s groundbreaking technology with the world, translating science into story, and purpose into progress.Our preference is to hire someone located in Houston, TX however we are open to remote candidates who can travel as required. Travel would be to our offices in Houston, TX, Englewood, CO and to conferences both domestic and international. Depending on experience, the actual title offered may be Director or Manager.
