We’re now looking for a dynamic Marketing & Events Coordinator to drive our brand, elevate our events, and engage our community.About the RoleIn this full-time role, you’ll take ownership of UQ Rugby’s marketing, events and communications. You’ll work closely with the GM and club staff to deliver professional, engaging, community-driven experiences across our season.Key responsibilities include:Plan, coordinate and deliver club events: home game days, corporate functions, sponsor events, community initiatives.Manage digital marketing: social media content, campaigns, website updates (WordPress), and weekly EDMs (Zoho, mailchimp or similar).Support sponsorship servicing and partner activations.Produce marketing collateral and graphics (Canva).Oversee club merchandise: ordering, stock management, sales.Provide communication and customer service support to members, partners and stakeholders.About You:You’re a proactive, organised and creative operator with a passion for sport, events or marketing.We’re looking for someone with:Experience in events, marketing or sports administration (or relevant tertiary study).Strong communication and organisational skills.Confidence using Canva, WordPress and digital marketing tools.A customer-focused mindset and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Availability for Saturday home games and occasional evening events.Bonus: experience in graphic design, sponsorship management or content creation.What we offer:Flexible work environment (ideal for a recent graduate or someone studying).Hands-on experience across marketing, events and sponsorship.Supportive team culture within a historic, high-performing rugby club.The chance to contribute to the growth and future of UQ Rugby.
