Who are we looking for?We are currently looking for a highly experienced and disciplined Stores Person to join our team in Melbourne, VIC. If you’re a proactive, flexible and experienced professional with a drive to succeed, you’re the type of person we would like to welcome onboard.Your roleManage aircraft parts, tools, and consumables to support maintenance operationsEnsure efficient and accurate warehouse and inventory managementMaintain compliance with aviation standards and organisational proceduresCoordinate timely distribution of parts to maintenance teamsAssist in maintaining orderly storage, stock control, and documentationThe essential requirementsWe are not looking for just anyone. We are looking for an autonomous, passionate and experienced stores person who/with:Previous experience in a warehouse or stores role, ideally within the aviation industryKnowledge of aviation parts and regulatory compliance (CASA, CAAS)Experience using inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP)Valid Airside Driving Licence for Melbourne AirportForklift licence and relevant certifications (preferred)Valid Certificate of Training for DG by Air (Acceptance Group A & F – IATA Category 1 & 6)Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentASIC required or eligibility to obtain oneShift will be on a 4 on 4 off roster pattern.Additional QualificationsWe are specifically looking for candidates capable of committing to flexible working arrangements; further, please ensure that you are available to work in Melbourne before applying.What's in it for you?RoleAt Sigma, we place our people at the heart of everything we do.
