We are seeking a creative and proactive marketing & events executive to join our on-venue marketing team and support our new site in Digbeth, Birmingham. Role OverviewAs part of the On Venue Marketing & Events Team, you will support the Marketing Manager and work alongside your fellow marketing team members to deliver a comprehensive content marketing and events programme to help your food hall achieve its footfall and revenue objectives, whilst also creating a thriving, vibrant community. Creating engaging content and driving awareness and engagement across social media, content creation, events and on-venue marketing.Key ResponsibilitiesCreating engaging and vibrant content for use across all channels (social, email, web, collateral) to drive reach and engagement, including the use of influencers and UGC to drive authenticityEnsure events, activities and activations are delivered effectively at the venue level, including ensuring events are well represented in the marketing activity and across social channels, including researching event, activity and activation options and proposing solutions for our food halls Act as liaison between suppliers, partners and operational colleagues to ensure events run smoothly and review operational marketing requirements, including TVs, menus, and to liaise with food partners for content and provide marketing support if needed Liaise with food partners, in conjunction with the Food Hall Operations Manager, to identify deals and promotions to encourage footfall and spend across your assigned food halls and support, where possible, their marketing effortsReview all marketing campaigns, social campaigns and events to ensure they have delivered on reach and engagement targets, and footfall and revenue if appropriateSupport the Head of Marketing & Events, Marketing Manager and Activation Coordinator in delivering their events and activities on your assigned food halls, including creating content and sharing widelyWork with the Head of Events and Marketing and the Marketing Director to ensure all processes are in place to efficiently manage the on-site collateral and other operational marketing requirements, and create opportunities for operational colleagues to feed into our annual planning process Skills & QualificationsEssential:A passion for content creation, social media marketing and eventsAbility to create strong photography and videography contentTeam player who can support the broader team, including food partners and operations Willingness to work flexibly with a genuine can-do attitude Strong organisational skills and an ability to plan aheadGood communicator with strong written and oral skills Desirable:Proficiency in Photo/Video editing toolsProficiency in Social Media Management Tools and Google Workspace tools.Role OverviewThe Marketing & Events Executive is part of a growing team of food hall-based marketers who take control of the effective marketing and events activities on their allocated site, in this case, our new site opening in Digbeth, Birmingham. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be part of a full-service marketing team based both in the venue and at our Head Office in Sheffield.
