About the jobWe are a leading global brand dedicated to creating Smart, Helpful, and Bold baby gear since 2007. Our business has continued to grow exponentially, and we are looking for a Marketing Lead (m/f/d) to join us.The principal objective of the Nuna Marketing Lead is to provide the strategic direction and lead the Japan marketing team. This role will give guidance and support to the team and set out the path to increase market share through a full-funnel approach. They will also be the main contact for the key accounts/ distributors and represent our brand accordingly. This role will report to the Director of EMEA & APAC and work closely together to achieve the above goal.What you'll do 1. Team Leadership & People ManagementLead, guide, and support the Nuna Japan marketing team.Provide direction, support, and guidance for all Nuna marketing activities.Act as a proactive member of the International Marketing Team, communicating with Sales, Product, and Creative Teams.2. Marketing Strategy & PlanningCreate and execute short-, mid-, and long-term marketing plans.Provide yearly marketing budget plans and growth ambitions, with quarterly reviews and agile adjustments based on marketplace trends and Japan P&L activity.Work closely with the Japan Managing Director and Finance Team to manage the budget strategically and ensure sustainable growth.Ensure close communication and alignment with other brand marketing teams (Joie and Tavo).Analyze the Japanese market and provide recommendations for brand activity execution.Identify marketing trends and opportunities for innovation or collaboration with key partners, brands, organizations, or individuals.3. Brand Management & ActivationSupport local execution of global brand strategy and marketing campaigns.Actively support global product launch plans with a Japan-specific lens.Provide support for brand activation activities: social media, PR, events, digital marketing, celebrity & influencer engagement.Provide support for corporate marketing activities (e.g., local website, showroom).Prepare and present marketing and brand presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.4. Commercial & Cross-Functional CollaborationProactively collaborate with the commercial team to maximize each brand’s value while pursuing optimal results for the Japan business.Build and maintain productive relationships with distributors and partners.Co-operate on channel strategy and trade marketing initiatives with key accounts and retailers (in-store, online, retail marketing plans).Partner with the sales team to align marketing and sales objectives.Support distributors in e-commerce site management, investments, renewals, and merchandising.5.
