Role & Responsibilities: Position Definition (Key Purpose of the Position) : This role is responsible for creating strategic programs that directly promote the Vans Brand, and managing the marketing strategies, campaigns, tools and content from planning to execution. You will work with regional, commercial and product function colleagues on various projects to help achieve overall brand objectives. You will play an integral role in ensuring deadlines are met and internal processes are seamless and efficient. You need to be a solid communicator, work well with deadlines, and be incredibly self-motivated with a knack for time management. Most importantly, you have a deep understanding of our brand mission, values and personality and live the Off the Wall lifestyle.You will be responsible for an integrated team and required to collaborate closely with the Vans ROA team, Omni-channel team and Sales team to drive integrated marketing impact at brand and sales levels. To be successful in this capacity, the candidate for this role must be comfortable working in a highly matrixed environment, in a global organization, and collaborating with large teams across the company.Key Result Areas:Guide and track sales teams to build culture and community in parallel to revenueLead and execute innovative marketing programs (Digital & Instore) with strategic plans that strengthen brand equity, positioning, product awareness, and sales revenue.Partner with the environment design team to create strong and effective strategies within the wholesale environment, in both owned and distributor market partners.Drive key product story execution; bring product storytelling to life with targeted strategic accounts and support distributor partners. Coordinate with creative services teams to meet deadline and deliver creative on time.Manage the strategic planning, timeline, and execution of all activities including strategies around Digital & Social assets, Fixture & POP, promotional items (GWP) and key accounts.Work with Sales Team to maximize key account partnership and present annual, seasonal, and monthly retail marketing initiatives in direct channels, ensure that the marketing initiatives are in-sync with Brand’s goals.Manage multiple marketing initiatives and support multiple markets to ensure timely execution of all projects.Ensure all account marketing program expectations are achieved through effective partnerships and operational excellence.Ensure all programs fall within the planned budget and best utilize every budget dollar.For Distributor markets, ensure all spends fall in line with budgeted dollars and strategic initiatives.Behavioral Competencies -(Please refer to VF guiding principles)Bold and creative thinking.
