Job SummaryKDD is seeking a skilled and experienced Marketing Manager â Commercial Retail to lead and oversee all marketing activities across KDD's retail business, including Gate Shops, Kiosks, and Dukkan convenience stores. The role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns that drive sales, enhance brand visibility, and strengthen customer engagement.The Marketing Manager ensures that all marketing initiatives are aligned with KDD's commercial objectives and brand standards. Key responsibilities include coordinating closely with Operations, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams, managing agency relationships, overseeing digital and in-store marketing activities, and analyzing market trends to identify growth opportunities.Roles And ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement integrated marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility, drive sales, and strengthen KDD's retail presence across Gate Shops, Kiosks, and Dukkan convenience stores.Align all marketing initiatives with commercial objectives and brand positioning guidelines.Understand consumer behavior and tailor programs to appeal to specific segments such as officegoers, kids, neighborhood shoppers, etc.Identify unique strengths of KDD's retail formats and leverage them, rather than simply emulating other retailers.Build annual marketing calendars and execution plans, including promotional schedules, seasonal campaigns, and new product launches.Manage and control marketing budgets, ensuring spend optimization and maximum ROI on all initiatives.Elevate and reposition the café area in Dukkan stores to create a unique and premium consumer experience.Plan and oversee the end-to-end execution of marketing campaigns, events, and store openings.Ensure timely coordination with Operations, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to support campaign execution.Conduct post-campaign analysis to measure results and recommend improvements.Engage with select suppliers for joint activities to generate additional income streams.Oversee digital marketing activities for retail formats in coordination with agencies.Manage local store marketing programs, ensuring compliance with brand standards and licensing requirements.Strengthen partnerships with aggregator platforms (e.g., Talabat) to enhance digital visibility and drive conversions. Utilize Odoo extensively to implement and manage loyalty programs.Develop and manage collaborations with key local partners to improve brand exposure and strengthen KDD's retail positioning.Maintain productive relationships with advertising agencies, creative partners, production houses, and suppliers.Collaborate with Visual Merchandising and Operations teams to optimize in-store visibility, product placement, and customer journey.Support merchandisers in implementing planograms and point-of-sale materials to increase profitability and average ticket value.Analyze consumer insights, market trends, and category performance to identify growth opportunities.Conduct regular competitive reviews to assess market positioning, pricing, and promotional strategies.Monitor and report key marketing performance metrics (footfall, conversion, redemption, ROI).Prepare regular performance dashboards and presentations for management review. 9- Customer Engagement and LoyaltySupport the design and implementation of customer engagement and loyalty programs to enhance retention and repeat purchases.Ensure consistent brand messaging across all customer touchpoints.Lead, guide, and develop a small marketing team to ensure strong execution, alignment with business objectives, and continuous professional growth.Required EducationBachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing or a related field. Required Professional SkillsFluency in English and Arabic (Bilingual) Minimum 6-8 years Kuwait experience in F&B Marketing including food service and retail. Utilizing Odoo extensively to implement and manage loyalty programs.Proven experience in Managing Marketing Campaigns for multi-site retail channels. Strong knowledge in digital marketing, aggregator platforms and local store marketing. Experience overseeing creative agencies and production houses. Other Related Certifications are a Plus.
