Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Brand Strategist, based in Kingston. The Brand Strategist will be responsible for developing and managing brand strategies to strengthen Guardsman's identity and market presence. Responsibilities include executing branding initiatives, overseeing brand development, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and enhancing strategic communication efforts to inspire confidence and growth. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will also be a key part of the role.The RoleThe Brand Strategist position resides within the Marketing Department of the Guardsman Group and encompasses the effective development and execution of brand strategies to elevate and maintain the company's brand image across digital, traditional, and media platforms.What You'll Be DoingDevelop and execute comprehensive brand strategies for each company within the GroupConduct market research to identify new opportunities and areas for growth within the brand's target marketPrepare brand performance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data from marketing initiatives to inform future strategiesCreate, proofread, and edit copy for various brand channels including social media, press releases, email, and other advertising materials while maintaining a consistent brand voiceAssist in the development and execution of content and social media marketing campaigns aligned with the brand's identityManage relationships with external partners and suppliers to ensure high quality and timely execution of branding projectsPropose creative and innovative ideas for brand promotion and enhancementSupport the development and execution of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities that align with the company's brand values and business objectivesDevelop and implement internal branding campaigns to satisfy internal communication objectives and foster brand advocacyQualificationsExpertise in Brand Strategy, Branding, and Brand DevelopmentExperience in Brand Management, including maintaining brand consistency across platformsStrong Communication skills to articulate brand vision and engage stakeholdersCreative and analytical thinking abilities to align branding initiatives with business objectivesBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (preferred)Familiarity with the security solutions industry is an advantageStrong organizational and collaboration skillsAt least 3 years of experience in brand strategy or related rolesDriver’s License and reliable motor vehicle
