Job Role:A senior commercial leadership role responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and expanding sales channels in the nickel mining and smelting industry. The position requires deep market knowledge, established industry networks, and the ability to drive high-value transactions with mining companies, smelters, refiners, and commodity buyers.Key Responsibilities:Strategic & Commercial LeadershipDevelop and execute the overall marketing and sales strategy for nickel products across domestic and international markets.Lead market expansion initiatives targeting key clients in the nickel mining, smelting, and processing sectors.Build long-term commercial plans, pricing strategies, and supply-demand forecasts.Client & Channel DevelopmentIdentify, build, and maintain strong relationships with major nickel suppliers, smelters, trading houses, and industrial off-takers.Expand networks and partnerships within the nickel mining ecosystem, ensuring access to new business channels.Manage high-value negotiations, long-term contracts, and key account strategies.Market Intelligence & ReportingMonitor global nickel price trends (LME), export regulations, supply chain risks, and competitor activities.Prepare strategic business reports for senior management, including insights for investment, procurement, and trading decisions.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Procurement, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure efficient contract fulfillment.Collaborate with China headquarters on pricing strategy, risk management, and volume planning.Requirements:Education: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields.Experience:Over 10 years in Nickel Manufacturing or Mineral Mining sectors, including smelting, trading, and commodity marketing.At least 3 years of managerial level or team leadership role, handling marketing, commercial, or business development functions.Proven track record working with nickel mines, smelters, processors, or global commodity trading companies.Have strong existing channels and networks within the nickel mining ecosystem.Technical & Industry Skills:Strong understanding of nickel products, supply chains, smelting processes, export regulations, and LME price mechanisms.Skilled in developing commercial strategies, forecasting, and negotiating complex business deals.Ability to lead market analysis, risk assessment, and pricing strategy development.Familiarity with international commodity trading, especially China–Indonesia nickel trade.Personal Qualities:Strong leadership and people management abilities.High commercial acumen with strong negotiation skills.Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.Strategic thinker with the ability to guide teams and influence business direction.Adaptable, dynamic, and able to operate in fast-paced commodity environments.Language RequirementsFluent Mandarin (must), written and spoken.Proficient English as a second language.
