JOB TITLE: Marketing ManagerDEPARTMENT: MarketingREPORTS TO: CEOJOB SUMMARYThe Marketing Manager will be involved in coordinating all internal and external marketing and promotional efforts including merchandising, public relations, information, events and demos.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies.- Develop and implement various brand strategies & oversee implementation of integrated marketing strategy including innovative campaigns and digital marketing.- Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments.- Evaluate the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives, including impact on lead flow and retention.- Maintain social media presence at property level and at a corporate level.- Maintain accurate information on company website.- Design promotional web landing pages to track effectiveness of other marketing initiatives.- Draft Press Releases, represent the company to media outlets.- Help to implement processes, procedures and tools to maximize the productivity and performance of the sales and marketing functions and to facilitate integration with other departments such as Finance, Development, Sales, etc.- Conduct Market Research to develop an understanding of the competition, opportunities and customers.- Achieve a monthly minimum of 500 qualified leads for VAAL properties.- Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials.- Help to Establish and maintain appropriate budgets for sales and marketing campaigns and initiatives.- Establish a sales training program to train new employees.- Work closely with company Corporate Communications department to blend the direct sales/ marketing requirements with broader communications strategy and creation of product collateral.Qualifications• Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Marketing/ Management/Business or its equivalent from a reputable institution• MBA/ MA is a plus• At least 5 years’ Experience in marketing and team management or in a similar role.• Proven success to work in a complex environment, having experience in company transformations is a plus• Project management skills and experience with stakeholder management• Excellent command of English language.• Ambition, drive and Charisma• Understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels• Flexibility to adapt to change in priorities• Good analytical and problem-solving skills• Good IT skills
