Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hanoi for a Marketing Officer. The Marketing Officer will conduct market research, develop and execute marketing strategies, manage social media campaigns, and contribute to sales generation. The role also involves communicating effectively with clients and team members, analyzing market trends, and building brand awareness through targeted initiatives.Key Responsibilities:1. Digital Marketing & Strategy• Develop and execute digital marketing strategies targeting international travel trade partners, focusing on lead generation and brand positioning.• Manage paid online campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads) to promote B2B travel products, trade offers, and destination updates.• Create and manage content for B2B newsletters, trade portals, and marketing automation tools.• Work closely with the sales team to align digital marketing initiatives with trade show participation, fam trips, and partnership programs. 2. Social Media Marketing• Manage company social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) to engage B2B audiences and partners.• Develop and schedule professional, industry-focused posts such as partner highlights, new itineraries, market insights, and trade event updates.• Promote the company’s participation in trade fairs (e.g., WTM, ITB, ATM, JATA) and share live coverage, success stories, and follow-up campaigns.• Track engagement metrics and optimize content strategy for higher trade visibility and audience reach. 3. Content Creation & Branding• Coordinate with design and content teams to produce visually appealing and informative marketing materials—brochures, destination videos, e-flyers, and newsletters.• Write professional and persuasive digital copy tailored for travel trade professionals.• Ensure brand consistency across all digital channels, aligning with the company’s image as a reliable and innovative B2B tourism partner. 4. Email Marketing & CRM• Design and distribute monthly B2B newsletters with updates on new products, travel trends, and promotional offers.• Manage CRM database to maintain segmented partner lists by region or market type.• Monitor open rates, click-through rates, and conversions, optimizing campaigns based on performance insights. 5. Website & SEO• Maintain and update the company’s website with relevant B2B content, partner information, and market updates.• Implement SEO strategies targeting keywords relevant to the tourism trade (e.g., “Japan DMC,” “B2B tour operator,” “inbound travel partner”).• Collaborate with web developers to improve navigation, lead forms, and usability for trade partners. 6. Reporting & Analytics• Track and report on key digital marketing performance indicators (traffic, engagement, leads, conversions).• Provide monthly analysis and insights to management to support decision-making and strategy adjustments.• Keep abreast of emerging trends, digital platforms, and marketing innovations within the global travel trade industry. Qualifications & Skills:• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Tourism Management, or related field.• Experience:o Minimum 2–3 years of experience in digital marketing or social media marketing within the travel or tourism industry (preferably B2B).o Experience working with international markets, travel agents, or DMC networks is an advantage.• Technical Skills:o Strong understanding of Google Analytics, SEO, SEM, and social media advertising tools.o Proficiency in email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, Constant Contact).o Familiarity with content design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite) and CRM systems.• Soft Skills:o Excellent communication and copywriting skills in English (additional language an advantage).o Creative mindset with attention to visual and brand aesthetics.o Strong coordination and teamwork skills, especially in a multicultural environment.o Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):• Growth in B2B social media followers and engagement (especially LinkedIn).• Increase in qualified B2B leads and partner inquiries generated online.• Website traffic growth and conversion rate improvement.• Performance of digital ad campaigns and email marketing ROI.• Positive brand visibility and engagement during trade events. Working Conditions:• Full-time position (on-site or hybrid depending on company policy).• May require travel for trade events, photo/video shoots, or familiarization programs.• Occasional work outside office hours during trade fairs or major campaigns.
