We're offering two exciting placement-based internships for purpose-driven students ready to develop real-world skills and contribute to impact-led work. You can apply for one of the below roles.1. Community and Marketing InternSupport our community and digital presence by helping organise events, grow our online channels, and spotlight founder stories across Instagram, LinkedIn, and newsletters. You'll learn how to build culture, engagement, and storytelling that feels real — not forced.Key tasks may include:Assisting with event organisation, logistics, and promotionCo-creating content for Instagram, LinkedIn, newsletters, and SlackSupporting onboarding of new community membersContributing to community engagement both online and in personExploring facilitation and MCing opportunities with guidanceBonus points for:Canva, Reels, or short-form content creation skillsExperience coordinating events (university, clubs, or volunteering)Basic knowledge of email tools like Mailchimp or SubstackInterest in startups, storytelling, or creative communities2. Partnerships and Sponsorship Intern Help us grow our network of collaborators, sponsors, and ecosystem allies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing, research, and connecting the dots between people, purpose, and business.Key tasks may include:Researching potential partners, sponsors, or collaboratorsSupporting proposal writing and sponsorship pitch decksTracking conversations, deliverables, and reporting in CRM-style docsSupporting storytelling and testimonials from partner engagementsParticipating in events where partners are involvedBonus points for:Copywriting or visual storytelling skills (presentations, pitch decks)Familiarity with Notion, Airtable, or CRM toolsExperience supporting partnerships, sponsorships, or community orgsInterest in social enterprise, ecosystem building, or innovation spacesWho This Is For: We’re looking for motivated, curious students who are:Enrolled in a degree that requires a placement or internship for creditGreat communicators (written and verbal)Organised, reliable, and self-ledInterested in startups, social impact, community, or creativityHow to Apply: To apply, please send the following to [insert email or form link]:Your CVA short cover letter (1 page max) telling us:Why you’re excited to join UCWhich role you’re applying for (Community or Partnerships)How this internship fits with your course or placement requirementPlease note: This is an unpaid internship open only to students completing a mandatory university placement or work-integrated learning unit.
