They partner with hospital management teams and payers to drive complex transformational change, implement innovative growth strategies, streamline patient-focused care pathways and optimize operations.Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the Material Management Analyst (MMA) is responsible for day-to-day materials management operations in the hospital, utilizing the inventory management system to order products, book in delivered stock, and ensure accurate storage and consumption scanning. The role manages new product entries, obsolete products, stock levels, expirations, and conducts regular cycle counting with required activity data capture. Working with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries is essential, requiring strong communication skills for effective collaboration. This is onsite role based in Denmark. You will join the IHS team, which is located across both Copenhagen and Gentofte. Your primary workplace will be in Gentofte, with workdays taking place in Copenhagen when required.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:Perform all ordering, receipt, storage, and consumption processes on-site for all products and suppliers in scope, and understand the interaction between the IHS system and hospital system(s)Manage short UBD (Use By Date) items and reduce expiry riskMonitor product phase-in and phase-out activitiesOrganize and coordinate product returnsPerform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracyRun daily, weekly, and monthly reports as requiredRequired Knowledge and Experience:Advanced standard of education (Bachelor degree or similar) with strong process thinking and solutions-oriented problem-solving skills4–7 years of experience in a Cath Lab, OR, hospital environment, or in a Supply Chain environmentQuality improvement mindset with a proven track record in data analysis and strong affinity with numbersAbility to self-manage time, prioritize workload, and communicate effectively in Danish and English (verbal and written)Project management and/or change management experience; Lean Sigma is a plusExperience working in an international, multi-layered matrix organizationExpert or advanced proficiency in Excel and the MS Office suitePhysical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position. Benefits & CompensationMedtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits PackageA commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
