We’re Hiring! | Materials Engineer📍 Full-Time – On-Site | Cairo, EgyptDSC – Distance Studio Consultants is expanding, and we’re looking for a dedicated Materials Engineer with 3–5 years of experience to join our growing team in Cairo.The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing project documents, preparing material submittals and samples, coordinating with technical teams, and ensuring all materials meet project specifications and quality standards.Key Responsibilities • Participate in implementing departmental policies and procedures. • Review drawings, specifications, schedules, tender documents, and contracts to determine material requirements. • Study BOQs and coordinate with the Technical Office to identify all required materials. • Highlight missing materials not listed in the BOQ or tender documents. • Prepare material samples for client review and approval. • Specify required material specifications based on project needs. • Prepare material submittals and coordinate with the Technical Office to finalize forms and validate specifications. • Inspect received materials for quality and accuracy in coordination with the Technical Office and client team. • Address client remarks regarding drawings, materials, or additional requests and coordinate updates with relevant departments. • Track material availability and ensure proper stock levels.Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering or Interior Design. • 3–5 years of experience in materials engineering or a related technical field. • Strong understanding of material specifications and project documentation. • Excellent coordination, communication, and organizational skills.Interested?📩 Send your CV to: Hala.hassan@distancestudio.com📝 Please mention the job title “Materials Engineer” in the email subject line.
