Architectural Design Coordinator

MB ArchitectsArchitectural Design CoordinatorJob DescriptionWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Architectural Design Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the architectural design process across all stages of the project lifecycle, ensuring quality, accuracy, and alignment with project goals. Responsibilities: Coordinate architectural design development between internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders. Review and ensure all design documents comply with project requirements, applicable regulations, and client expectations. Assist in the preparation and review of concept, schematic, and detailed design drawings.

Manage the timely submission, revision, and approval of design documentation. Facilitate communication between architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the design intent is preserved during construction. Support the preparation of shop drawings and as-built documentation in collaboration with design and site teams. Monitor design quality, identifying and resolving any conflicts or discrepancies. Attend coordination meetings, site inspections, and design reviews as required. Ensure all design documentation is properly filed and maintained throughout the project. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar coordination role.

Strong knowledge of architectural drawing standards and construction methods. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently. Experience with residential, commercial, or interior fit-out projects is an advantage. Familiarity with local building codes and construction regulations.
